  • Implementing streaming and batch data processing pipelines on large data sets: our code base is in Python.
  • Cleaning, analyzing and extracting data sets from external sources.
  • Developing web crawlers.
  • Writing and deploying Data APIs.
  • Guarantee data integrity and quality by extending our logging, monitoring and outlier detection systems.

Minimum qualifications

  • You have a master in computer engineering (or relevant).
  • Programming experience with one or more languages: Python, C#, Java, Scala, C/C++, …
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Linux experience.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • You are passionate about data engineering and you can demonstrate a hands on experience with data analysis tools.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Elasticsearch).
  • Excellent coding skills and deep knowledge of SQL.
  • Good understanding of cloud possibilities and limitations in the areas of distributed systems, load balancing and networking, massive data storage, and security.

Job Description

Data Analyst

Full-time – Lisbon

Job Description

As data analyst, you’ll be responsible for analyzing and visualizing the data to create insights for retailers and suppliers. This involves interpreting the problem/ business case, cleaning, transforming and analyzing data, but also making demos, dashboards, and presentations. This all is done using the Python language, which is one of the most popular languages for data science nowadays, and Tableau for visualization.


  • Conceptualize and define product requirements/specifications in close collaboration with all departments and always focusing on customer needs.
  • Maintain a good communication and relationship with the engineering team and regularly sit down with them to remain updated on development status.
  • Be on the lookout for new technological trends and be open to brainstorm about their possible uses in the product.
  • Translate new customer request in technical needs/ adjustments for the engineering team.
  • You’ll be in close contact with both the data engineering team, and the commercial teams abroad.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (computer science, analytics, commercial
  • Passionate about working with data and extracting insights while using BI-tools such as Tableau.
  • Expert in analyzing & visualizing data to make demos, dashboards, presentations and other client-oriented required visualisations.
  • Basic programming experience with data processing. Our codebase is in Python.
  • Interested in the commercial activities of Daltix.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Communicative and fluent in English.

  • Creating complex single-page MVC applications, which are able to render large amounts of data.
  • Implementing data dashboards, with a focus on UX and making insights glanceable

Minimum qualifications

  • You have a bachelor in computer engineering (or relevant).
  • Programming experience with JavaScript (front & backend).
  • Good with HTML & CSS.
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Python (Django/Flask) and JavaScript for the front-end.
